Valet Parking FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our valet parking and commercial services.
Will you know how to drive my luxury car? +
Yes. As we service so many high-end clients, we are accustomed to servicing all kinds of makes/models. As new vehicles come in, we train our employees on the ins and outs of operating that vehicle. As new technology comes to market our management team visits the dealerships and arranges a demonstration on how to operate the new technology in the vehicles properly.
Will you park my car in a safe location? +
Yes, we feel very secure in our lots and have one of the lowest accident/transaction ratios in the business. We park approximately 80,000 cars per month. We perform and document damage control inspections on all vehicles before receiving the vehicle so our customer is happy with our service.
Is there any hourly minimum for your valet services? +
Yes, we require a minimum of three hours per valet for special events.
Do you conduct background checks on your employees? +
Yes, we do criminal background checks on all of our applicants. We also run DMV checks on our drivers.
What happens if my car gets damaged while under your care? +
Despite our best efforts, accidents sometimes occur. In the unlikely event of an accident, we will document the situation and promptly investigate the claim. Many of our facilities are equipped with security cameras that can be used for accident investigation. If we are responsible, we will either offer to have your vehicle repaired at our award-winning body shop or file a claim with our insurance company.

How do we determine the number of valet attendants we need for our event? +
Our team of event professionals will collaborate with you to calculate an appropriate number of valets, considering the number of guests, location of the venue, and the anticipated arrival times. We have a formula, based on many years of experience, to arrive at the perfect number.
What happens if the number of cars is much greater than anticipated? +
Our experience has enabled us to create a system of demand forecasting that has proven to be accurate. On the few occasions when there has been an inadequate number of attendants to cover a situation, our comprehensive employee training has enabled our staff to be ready. Because we are the largest valet company on the Peninsula, we can backstop with additional valets at the last minute.
Can your valets assist guests who need mobility help? +
Yes. Our valets are taught to be of service in any way necessary to the guests. If they need a wheelchair or a steady arm, we can provide that or if it's raining, our valets can hold an umbrella to keep our guests dry.
In which counties do you provide valet services? +
We offer valet in San Mateo County, Santa Clara County, San Francisco County, Alameda County, and Contra Costa County in Northern California. In Southern California, we do valet for Los Angeles County. We also offer valet services in Fulton County and the surrounding counties in the Atlanta metro area.
Do you handle valet parking permits? +
If you are holding an event at a private location, most likely you do not need a special permit. For public location events, special valet permitting may be required based on the specific location. We have considerable experience with city agencies and are glad to help you acquire the necessary parking permits.
What is a valet? +

What are the benefits of valet parking? +
Valet parking offers convenience, safety, and an upscale experience. It relieves your guests of the hassle of searching for a parking space, walking long distances, and enhances the overall image of your venue or event by creating a positive first impression.
When should you tip a valet parking attendant? +
You should tip your valet attendant when they return your car. The standard tip is between $2-$5, but you can leave more for outstanding service or bad weather.
Does the valet keep your car keys? +
Yes, we hold your keys while your car is parked in our secure, well-organized key control system. All of the keys are tagged and stored so they can be quickly identified with your car when you\'re ready to go.
